The HVAC/R Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of 17 RaceTrac convenience stores in a designated region.

This individual is responsible for maintaining Building HVAC, Refrigeration Walk-Ins and reach ins and sealed system repairs on Yogurt Machines, Ice Makers, and Frozen Carbonated Beverage Units.

The HVAC/R Technician is also responsible for reporting any maintenance or repair needs found at the location via Service Channel and to their Regional Service Manager.

* *You will be provided a company vehicle that all travel will be done with*
* Able to regularly travel to different stores and locations within a designated area/territory

*Responsibilities:*
* Resolves maintenance and service issues at the RaceTrac Store Support Center to ensure full operability with all SSC equipment Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.
* Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to the SSC.
* Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from each department as needed.
* Has the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to repeatedly bend, stand and reach while on the job, with no or infrequent breaks.
* Conducts routine inspection of facilities to identify and repair deficiencies.
* Conducts routine audits of all 3rd party services.
* Manages and prioritizes work order requests.

*Qualifications:*
* HVAC, HVAC/R skillset desired.
* Universal EPA Certification required.
* Ability to work from 6am through 7pm.
* Good driving record.
* 2+ years work experience preferred.
* Minimum 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
* Ability to read commercial wiring schematics.
* Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
* Ability to use power tools and hand tools.
* Ability to work in confined spaces and outside conditions.
* Ability to use ladders safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
