JOB TITLE: Debug Technician

DURATION: 3 Months - Temporary/Contract (potential temp to perm within the first 60 days based on good performance)

LOCATION: Florence, KY

SALARY: $22 -$24 per hour W2 (Pay rates starting at $22.00 with push to $24.00 after 90 days)

Available SHIFTS:

  • Weekdays (M-W/TH) 6am-6pm- 5 Opening
  • Weekdays (M-W/TH) 6pm-6am- 12 Opening
  • Weekends (TH/F-SS) 6am-6pm = 8 Openings
  • Weekends (TH/F-SS) 6pm-6am = 9 Openings

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Candidates need to have proficiency in hardware knowledge, networking concepts and Linux domain at intermediate level.

MUST:

  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with PCIe protocols and device communication
  • Understanding of server Baseboard Management Controller (BCM) functionality
  • Knowledge of PC BIOS firmware and its configurations
  • Differentiation between IP addresses and MAC addresses
  • Expertise in Secure Shell (SSH) connections for secure remote access

PREFERABLY:

  • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity.
  • Experience or basic knowledge using: ethtool, ncat, ipmitool, smartctl
  • Experience copying/transferring files via SHH.
  • Experience or basic knowledge on ECC.
