Join us as we empower the world to work out, creating healthier lives together.About the Opportunity:JOB PURPOSE:Produce a wide variety of weldments in a safe, quality and productive manner.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Prior to each job, accurately count all pieces to ensure no extra/missing partsSet-up jobs; load and unload jigsOperate welding equipment according to job guidelines and verify work to print(s)Perform all aspects of job in a safe and quality conscious mannerVerify work of other welders in work cell to printsReport supply needs, equipment breakdowns, shortages and poor quality materials/products to supervisor or leadComplete required paperwork in a correct and timely mannerOperate hoist and manual pallet jackNON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Provide training for new welders to learn jobs in weld cellPerform other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentPass the Life Fitness Weld TestMIG/Pulse welding experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferredVocational training and/or welding certificate preferredCommunicate in English (read, write and understand)Read prints/work instructionsRead and complete process sheetsHave tools necessary for the jobPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Lift up to 30 lbs up to 60% of shift and 50 lbs up to 30% of shift; push/pull up to 30 lbsWalk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessaryOperate hoist and pallet jackWant to take the next step in your career?
