As a key player in our Field Sales organization, our Account Executives help grow the company by driving incremental add‑on business into strategic named accounts. About the Team The Enterprise Sales team supports existing customers to maximize value. Team members balance integrity and innovation, delivering high performance and a supportive, collaborative culture. About the Role As a Customer Base Account Executive, you will partner with existing Workday customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver lasting value. You will drive upsell and renewal business of Workday solutions within large enterprise accounts. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, focusing on upselling via deal management. Perform account planning for assigned accounts and coordinate with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment. Drive strategic add‑on and renewal business of Workday solutions within large enterprise customers. Coordinate cross‑functionally with Workday’s internal teams (pre‑sales, digital, value & bid management, marketing, technical, and sales support). Basic Qualifications 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud‑based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C‑level executives from a field sales position. 4+ years of experience negotiating deals with a variety of C‑suite executives to close opportunities. 4+ years of experience building relationships with existing customers for add‑on or incremental business. 4+ years of experience developing long‑term account strategies with existing customers. Other Qualifications Experience managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months with large deal sizes. Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape by staying current with trends and customer needs. Experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Workday Pay Transparency Statement Primary Location: USA - CA - Pleasanton. Base pay range: $146,900–$179,500 USD.
