We carry over one million industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising and directing Product Managers.
  • Work with Product Managers to identify product offering gaps and identifying manufacturers that fill identified product gaps.
  • Responsible for competitor assessments, field research, market research determining promotional requirements, and development of the marketing project plan.
  • Manage competitive intelligence across each product line (trends, growth, disruptors etc.)
  • Define and determine customer needs, experience and expectations through primary and secondary research on a single and multi product basis working closely with the Product Manager.
  • Develop an integrated communication plan across the product lifecycle for each product.
  • Define and evolve the product marketing methodology to ensure best practices are incorporated across function throughout the footprint.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Competencies and Skills
  • MBA Degree required.
  • 7+ years experience in strategic development, positioning and marketing experience.
  • 5+ years experience with Internet Advertising and Marketing.
  • Ability to identify shifts and emerging trends in marketplace, as well as ability to monitor performance against objectives.
