Job Summary Civil Litigation Attorney | Fort Lauderdale, FL Base pay range: $115,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Responsibilities Represent clients in civil litigation matters including contract disputes, commercial litigation, real property issues, and general liability defense. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements. Handle all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation. Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients and senior attorneys. Work directly with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy and achieve favorable outcomes. Qualifications Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar. 2+ years of experience in civil litigation, commercial litigation, or insurance defense. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple matters independently while contributing to a supportive team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis).
