Job Overview The Litigation Attorney role offers a new hire the opportunity to learn and grow within our practice areas, hone litigation and procedural experience, and demonstrate the ability to meet client and firm performance expectations. The candidate must be able to organize and prioritize workloads, exhibit attention to detail, produce accurate high‑quality work in a fast‑paced litigation environment, work independently, and possess strong interpersonal and critical‑thinking skills. Previous exposure to civil litigation and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure is a plus but not required. Specific Job Responsibilities Draft and review pleadings and other filings required in court litigation. Attend court hearings, mediations, depositions, and code enforcement hearings across the state, both in‑person and remotely. Work closely with mortgage banking clients to provide top‑level legal services. Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy and collections requirements (as applicable). Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Intermediate to advanced computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written electronic correspondence. Demonstrated ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations. Required Education & Training Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school. Active bar membership (required).
