You must indicate JC-499266 and position number on your application. This part‑time position will be working 20 hours per week. The monthly salary range for this position is $3,892.00 to $5,160.00. Located next door to Old Folsom Prison, California State Prison - Sacramento (SAC) is a licensed health care facility that provides patient services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Job Description and Duties Under the general direction of the Receiver’s Medical Executive, conduct eye examinations using observation and instruments to determine visual acuity, perception, focus, and coordination to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities for patients. Maintain order and supervise the conduct of incarcerated individuals, protecting and maintaining the safety of persons and property. Implement and adhere to the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025 policies, ensuring compliance with staffing, pay, and leave adjustments. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a valid license to practice Optometry in the State of California. Two (2) years of experience in the practice of Optometry.
