Personal Lines Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with personal lines clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their insurance needs and concerns.
- Policy Administration: Oversee the administration of personal lines insurance policies, including policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Coverage Review: Conduct thorough reviews of clients’ existing insurance coverage to ensure adequacy and recommend necessary adjustments or additional coverage based on changing needs.
- Claims Support: Assist clients with the claims process, including filing claims, providing documentation, and following up with insurance carriers to ensure timely resolution.
- Sales and Retention: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling insurance products, contributing to the growth and retention of the client portfolio.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve client issues and concerns in a prompt and professional manner, escalating complex cases as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, underwriters, and insurance carriers to provide comprehensive solutions and support for clients.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a proven track record in account management or client service.
- Licensing: Valid Property & Casualty License
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, including auto, home, and umbrella coverage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and address their needs effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex client situations with professionalism.
