POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Secures and obtains accurate and complete patient data for registration, scheduling, and support of the outpatient areas of Ambulatory Rehabilitation. Secures and obtains accurate patient data to help with financial clearance. Understands and completes referral flow for assigned areas to assist with access. Communicates with patients about charges and estimates. Collects copays, coinsurance and other monies that maybe owed by the patient. Maintains strict confidentiality of patient records. Provides excellent customer services and adheres to the standards and behaviors of University Health.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or its equivalent required. One year and six months of experience in general office clerical work is required. Two years of Experience Preferred. Two years of related college level course work may be substituted for 1 year of experience. College or commercial school courses in business functions are preferred.
