Stealth Communications is seeking multiple (6 positions) highly skilled and detail-oriented Residential Property Site Inspector Level I to join our Real Estate Operations, in connection with our employees relocating to Stealth's Honolulu HQ.


The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in residential inspections, electromagnetic scanning, and physical security, with a commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards. You will be responsible for assessing residential properties to ensure their structural integrity and safety, providing in-depth reports, and contributing to the security and safety of our employees’ homes.


This position requires security clearance and is based onsite in Honolulu, HI, requiring field travel across O'ahu.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of residential properties, including single-family homes, condominiums, and townhouses, ensuring conformity with building and zoning ordinances.
  • Assess the structural integrity, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and other critical components of properties, following industry standards and best practices.
  • Utilize advanced tools, such as electromagnetic spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes, to perform electromagnetic/RF scanning and other technical evaluations.
  • Document findings in detailed inspection reports, including photos and videos, and present clear, concise results to clients during post-inspection reviews.
  • Inspect property for compliance with zoning ordinances and identify any structural or safety concerns, offering corrective recommendations as needed.
  • Conduct offsite risk assessments to support the event security program and assist in security design for new residential projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and ensure all site risk assessment documentation is accurate and current.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain consistency and excellence in service delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing employees’ inquiries and concerns with professionalism
  • Adhere to Stealth’s policies, ensuring integrity, transparency, and the highest ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Strong collaboration with Stealth’s Physical Security Force, ensuring all security protocols and standards are integrated into property assessments and inspections.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a home inspector with proven expertise in electromagnetic/RF scanning.
  • BSEE with at least 5 years of E3 development experience.
  • Certification or license as a home inspector is required.
  • Specialized experience with the Department of Defense (DOD) in physical security (4+ years).
  • Strong understanding of residential construction, electrical safety, and military EMC compliance standards, including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, and RTCA-DO-160 Sections 18-22.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and software, including ETS Lindgren EMC and home inspection software.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, zoning codes, and construction plans.
  • Familiarity with the building and zoning codes and ordinances in Hawai'i.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
  • Physical capability to access crawlspaces, attics, and roofs using ladders.
