About The Role Providing our clients with exceptional service is the foundation of our business. The Vice President of Sales is an important part of the organization at Veritext and will be responsible for providing essential support to clients throughout the region, as well as providing strategy and direction for the Director of Sales and the Account Executives within the region. This leader collaborates with the RVP and the Director/VP of Operations to ensure attainment of all operation business objectives, all client objectives, and adherence to Service Level Agreements. What You'll Get To Do Maintain relationships and grow top-tier clients in the region Collaborate with the other field leaders to grow the business in individual markets Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the markets to ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability Responsible for the performance and development of the Director of Sales and Account Executives. Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by the team for effective search of sales leads and prospects Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed Conduct one-on-one reviews with all Directors of Sales to build more effective communications, understand training and development needs, and provide insight for improving the Account Executive’s sales and activity performance Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses Assist teams in preparation of proposals and presentations Control expenses to meet budget guidelines Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team Takes part in Interviews when hiring Account Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management Sales Support functions such as ordering client giveaways, and event planning.
