Position: US Director, Retail

As the Retail Director, US for GlassesUSA.com, you'll be at the helm of overseeing multiple brick-and-mortar locations, ensuring each store operates smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve strategic leadership, team development, optimizing sales performance, nurturing a customer-centric culture, and upholding the brand's standards across all stores within your district.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure each store delivers exceptional service and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction. Oversee daily operations, including staffing and scheduling, and optimize operations to be efficient and cost-effective.
  • Sales Performance: Drive sales targets by providing guidance and support to store teams. Analyze sales performance, buying trends, and customer needs to optimize sales strategies. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management regularly.
  • Team Development: Recruit, onboard, and train store teams to foster a culture of excellence and achievement. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Leadership: Hire, mentor, and coach store managers, and monitor their performance.
  • Inventory & Visual Merchandising: Maintain outstanding store conditions and uphold visual merchandising standards to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Implement risk management and safety protocols to protect employees and customers.
  • Leadership: Hire, mentor, and coach store managers, and monitor their performance.

Qualifications:

  • Retail Management Experience: 3+ years of managerial experience in a customer-focused retail environment - A Must
  • Preferably in the optical or eyewear industry - An advantage
  • Sales and performance: Proven track record of driving sales results and delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Leadership Abilities: The company expects the US Director of Retail to have strong leadership skills and be able to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams. They should also have effective communication and decision-making skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Resourceful problem-solver with the ability to identify underlying causes of issues and develop long-term solutions.
  • Passion for Service: Genuine passion for providing outstanding service and creating a positive customer.
  • Flexibility and Travel: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required. Willingness to travel within the region to visit store locations, and provide support as needed.
  • Applicants must have Native-level proficiency in English.
