This role involves developing and executing go-to-market strategies, managing key client relationships, and acquiring new software customers. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in selling IT, Engineering, and other services to software companies, with a strong track record in new customer acquisition and revenue growth.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Acquisition: Lead new customer acquisition efforts, engaging with prospective clients to understand their needs and position TCS’s value proposition effectively.Sales & Business Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the software segment.Account Management: Strengthen relationships with existing software customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships.Solution Selling: Work closely with delivery and technical teams to craft tailored solutions that align with customer needs.Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies, collaborating with internal stakeholders across marketing, presales, and delivery teams.Industry Expertise: Stay up to date with market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the software sector.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, in target organizations.Deal Negotiation & Closure: Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring successful contract negotiations.Qualifications10+ years of experience in sales/business development in IT, Engineering, or consulting services.Strong experience in selling to software companies, including both large enterprises and high-growth SaaS firms.Proven track record in new customer acquisition and growing existing accounts.Deep understanding of the software industry’s technology landscape, business challenges, and opportunities.Strong consultative sales approach with experience in solution selling.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.Salary Range: $180,000-$220,000 a yearAdditional DetailsSeniority level: DirectorEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Business Development and SalesIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
