Duties and Responsibilities
· Troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electronic industrial printing systems.
· Installation and Commissioning of new equipment.
· Testing / calibration / adjustment of equipment for performance.
· Make recommendations to customers for optimizing performance.
· Manage various reports
Skills and Specifications
Technical expertise to troubleshoot, install, and repair mechanical and/or electronic industrial systems.Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical, electrical and electronic schematic drawings and diagrams.Ability to interpret the technical issues from non-technical explanation offered by customers.Communication with customers and employees in a courteous, effective and professional manner in both a field service and shop environment.Ability to work independently without any supervision.Problem solving abilities.Good logical sense and critical thinker.Carrying out research in order to detect the problems and developing the solution for these problems. Knowledge and experience with (or similar) machines a plus
Required
HS degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified college.Basic/advanced computer skillsPossession of valid Driver's LicensePossession of valid PassportMust be (or willing to be) vaccinated for COVIDAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.5+ years for Mechanical Position, 7+ years for Electrical position
Work Environment & Physical Demands
As a service technician, the majority of time will be spent at customer sites. Overnight stays will be required on most occasion, per diem and accommodations will be provided by the company.
The job will require rigorous physical demands. The candidate will be required to occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Working in confined or precarious spaces is part of the job. All tools, protection/safety equipment will be provided.
