What to Expect This is an entry level Superintendent role that will provide a comprehensive field lead function, including upfront planning and sequencing, logistical coordination, schedule development and management and project close-out. Supporting functions include budgeting and cost control, resource planning, and utilizing internal teams to execute projects while providing oversight. What You'll Do Coordinate with Panasonic and Tesla teams, tenants, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies to ensure timely build‑out and implementation of battery manufacturing expansion projects at Gigafactory Nevada, including permitting and other requirements. Host daily whiteboard meetings with contractors to plan the day's work and run weekly safety and subcontractor meetings to evaluate safety adherence and update project status and priorities. Review scopes with Construction Managers and Superintendents to plan viable paths forward and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to execute construction projects on schedule. Align Weekly Work Plans with project milestones and support prioritization of work efforts while maintaining awareness of project cost and planning performance against budget and schedule. Analyze potential changes to the project, recommend corrective actions, and review contractors' schedule reports, recommending corrective action where necessary. Prepare regular and timely progress reports detailing progress against plans and budgets for circulation to management, supporting implementation and auditing of safety. Track daily work progress and crews, review time and materials, and report on workforce. What You'll Bring 0‑2 years of experience in a Construction environment, with battery manufacturing and/or advanced tech experience a plus. Prior people/team management experience and ability to communicate effectively with contractors, understand quotations, and timelines associated with project development. Engineering degree or equivalent experience. Strong relationship management, communication skills, and problem‑solving abilities with appropriate escalation. OSHA 30 Training Certification is a plus. Strong ability to work in a structured and detailed way, ensuring timelines, budgets, and detailed requirements are monitored and achieved. Experience with Project Management in a fast‑paced environment and proficiency with Microsoft packages (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project).
