Director of Finance - Stone Mountain, GA - (2-3 Month Contract)We are currently seeking a Director of Finance to join our Accounting and Finance team. In this position, you will help drive overall business and customer profitability analysis, forecasting cycles, and contribute to the preparation of weekly and monthly financial analyses of revenue, expenses, ROI, resource allocation and presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership. You will actively collaborate with account teams, development and production to identify and share short and long-term opportunities for improved financial performance of customer accounts. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills. The noteworthy Finance Director should harmonize financial operations, develop effective financial strategies, guide efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and maintain good relationships with investors.ResponsibilitiesSupport all aspects of accounting management for the Consumer Business (billing, reconciliations, reporting etc.)Assist in the preparation of financial statements and analysisAssist in the formulation of internal policies and process to ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of financial dataPrepare comprehensive budgets and forecastsReview departmental budgetsDevelop reports, financial models and analyses to support management and strategic initiativesDevelop and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected varianceReport and manage, from a financial perspective, the profitability of each customerAnalyze financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposesOther projects as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA a plus7+ years of experience, proven experience in a similar positionStrong leadership and communication skills requiredBoard Room presenceExperience in multi-unit and/or agenciesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivatedDemonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacitySolid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulationsExcellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial close, reporting etc.)Understanding of data analysis and forecastingProficiency in accounting software, Sage experience desirableProject management skills a plusSystem implementation experience desirableProfessional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plusClick here to apply online #J-18808-Ljbffr
