Amazon MGM Studio's Key Art Production Studio is looking for an Associate Key Art Finisher to be a part of our in‑house finishing team. This role will be responsible for performing hair masking, color correction, and lighting to prepare for final finishing of our key art assets that will be used in all deliverables for a campaign. The role takes ideas from comp stage through to high‑resolution assets ready to be handed off to our production teams for adaptations to our printed and digital out of home (OOH) channels, as well as assets featured on Amazon's homepage and in the Prime Video app. While this role requires a creative eye, it is not an Art Director or Creative Director position. Key Job Responsibilities Work hands on in Photoshop to reconstruct creative comps to final high‑resolution files for adaptation by other teams. Follow direction from the Group Lead Finisher to structure the layered Photoshop files to ensure modularity of the final key art. At a high skill level, paint hair masks, re‑light talent to fit the environment they are in, color‑correct and perform beauty retouch. Adhere to best‑practice guidelines and SOP. Make creative decisions regarding tone, color, composition and mood ensuring the final image aligns with the creative’s vision. Use advanced Photoshop and image‑editing techniques, including processing RAW images with Adobe Suite and other third‑party applications, masking with paths and brushes. Process RAW files using Adobe Suite software and third‑party apps, understanding the settings in each application and their internal adjustment properties. A Day in the Life This role requires a deep specialization in Key Art Finishing and is not a Designer or Art/Creative Director role. The role is in‑person at our production studio in Culver City, California. It is a hands‑on role working in Photoshop almost exclusively, building high‑resolution files in a clean, organized manner to ensure efficiencies for other teams. They will output high‑resolution color‑calibrated proofs from our Epson printer and review these under our 30‑inch calibrated light wall with the creative team, taking direction from the creative team and offering suggestions to enhance the art. Must demonstrate effective communication in our project‑management/time‑tracking tools, collaborating with the Key Art Producer and Creative teams to meet tight deadlines while ensuring the highest‑quality finising and file organization. About the Team Our Key Art Production team is a fast‑paced and growing team within Amazon MGM Studios Marketing. We are responsible for end‑to‑end production of static assets. Our in‑house Key Art Production Studio is a vital part of our success, providing the ability to quickly turn around finishing and production requests from our stakeholders. This position will be a vital role on the team to ensure the quality of the finish and techniques being used meet or exceed our very high quality bar. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of creative services experience. Experience using Photoshop, GIMP or Illustrator. 1+ years of hands‑on experience working in Photoshop reconstructing agency comps into high‑resolution finished assets. Experience reviewing printed proofs with a creative team for feedback on finishes. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of color profiles (sRGB vs Adobe RGB) and their impact on final printed or digitally displayed images. Experience with managing high‑volume, quick‑turnaround, time‑sensitive finishing. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $104,500/year in our highest geographic market.
