Pay rate: $ 13.81 - $19.42 DOE

Shifts: 2nd Shift 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm if overtime is required, end time would be 12:30 am.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Position: Assembler III Performs repetitive mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work.

Job Duties to Include but not limited to:
  • Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
  • Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.
  • Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence.
  • Assembles and/or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
  • May assemble minor variations of in-house standard products.
  • Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc thermal welding and thread taping.
  • Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures. Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to site.
  • Completes required documentation related to production.
  • Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities
  • Reads and understands simple layout and assembly drawings.
  • Maintains equipment and area in clean safe condition.
  • Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Must have plumbing, PVC or pipe fitting experience
  • Mechanical aptitude as evidenced by work experience, high school/tech school coursework, hobbies, etc.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone
  • Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs
  • Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.
  • May work indoors and outdoors as needed.
  • May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
  • Ability to work overtime occasionally
  • Excellent attendance required
  • Background check and drug screen required
