You will be responsible for leading and executing innovative design strategies, collaborating with internal teams and executive-level clients, and driving impactful visual storytelling to meet client objectives.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to bring a combination of creative and strategic expertise to elevate LINK’s business growth and deliver high-quality, human-centered design solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their challenges, develop compelling narratives, and implement design strategies that align with their mission, goals, and brand identity. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of designing impactful visual experiences, utilizing data-driven insights, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver exceptional client results.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, English, Business, or a related field5-10 years of experience in strategic communication, public affairs, consulting, strategy, or a similar roleAbility to build and maintain robust client relationships and foster positive interpersonal connectionsInterest in visual storytelling, including data visualization and conceptualizing abstract ideasExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detailExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear, approachable, and knowledgeable mannerResponsibilitiesCollaborate directly with clients to understand their challenges and the respective solution, then co-create effective products to convey it all to the appropriate audienceTranslate ideas into compelling campaigns, solutions, and storiesHelp design and develop effective meetings and workshops to co-create solutions with clients and gather contentIdentify content, hierarchies, and visual concepts for visual storytelling products to include the creation of content maps and wireframesWork with the design team to develop infographics, charts, diagrams, presentations, and other visual products to convey both quantitative data and abstract concepts for use in print and digital formatsApply human-centered design and design thinking principles to technically complex problem setsPerform primary and secondary research with a high level of journalistic standardsWork ScheduleFull time, 40 hours per weekSome travel required to meet with prospects/clients, attend relevant events and conferences, and participate in LINK team eventsSalary & BenefitsWe’re committed to providing competitive compensation, including locality adjustments based on the Washington, D.C. area. The base salary range for this position is [$86,000–$116,000].
