Works under general direction.ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll do:Lead the marketing team, establishing and managing workflow of Rounder project managers with a concentration on consumer-driven marketing.Oversee staff development including hiring, training, promotions, and performance management Manage departmental budget and resource allocationDevelop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for album releases, focusing on consumer-driven approaches to drive revenue and increase artist exposureEvaluate and implement new technologies and opportunities to improve workflow and market advantageManage M&P budgets and oversee advertising campaigns in collaboration with media buying and research departmentsDirect domestic and international marketing strategies and provide necessary tools for global territoriesPartner with artists, managers, and internal teams to develop and evolve artist brandsBuild and maintain strong relationships with artists and management teams, understanding their processes and goalsCoordinate artist appearances and special events, ensuring both artist and label needs are metDevelop bonus content and promotional materials in collaboration with artistsCollaborate with Concord and Rounder staff to support overall label visionOversee creative processes in conjunction with creative departmentGenerate and manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery across all departmentsAnalyze campaign performance, market conditions, and artist history to inform marketing strategiesMonitor and report on marketing effectiveness, identifying and communicating key opportunities to internal and external teamsRegular travel for internal and external business meetingsMaintain comprehensive communication to ensure project progression while preserving artist message and brand integrityQualificationsWhat you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration or other relevant discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.A minimum of 12 years’ experience in a marketing role, with significant experience at a record labelProject Management experience at a previous music labelProven experience with managing and developing talentGreat organization and time management skillsAn ability to successfully execute campaigns with urgencyExperience working as a liaison between teamsYou thrive in high pressure situationsA record of efficiently managing a high number of projects at onceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThis is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.At Concord, we offer comprehensive medical and wellness benefits, generous time off, parental leave, charity match, paid time off for volunteering, and other fun company perks.
