In this role, you will assist with the preparation and processing and recording of payroll for a variety of small business clients in various industries.This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting career and gain specialized experience in payroll.Responsibilities:Assist with processing weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls for clientsEnter and verify employee data, time records, and deductionsHelp ensure accurate tax withholding and benefit calculationsMaintain payroll records and respond to client inquiriesSupport compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsAssist with payroll tax filings and year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s)Qualifications:High School Diploma at minimum; Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (completed or in progress)Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time managementFamiliarity with payroll concepts and tax withholdings preferredExperience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Gusto, Paychex) is a plusExcellent communication and organizational skillsEagerness to learn payroll procedures and regulationsModern, collaborative team environmentStructured training and mentorshipCommunity engagement through “Alloy Cares”Business casual dress code401(k), health insurance, PTO packagesOpportunities to advanceSalary: Starting at $45,000-$50,000, depending on experienceBenefits as an Alloy Silverstein Team MemberCompetitive salary and benefitsGenerous time off and comp daysRobust training and mentor programsLife insurance401(K) plan with firm match and educationRemote & flexible schedules for eligible team membersSummer & Holiday social events including BBQs and employee outingsBusiness casual dress year-roundCasual dress for tax season (with charitable donation)Casual “Flip Flop Fridays” in summer, “Football Fridays” in fallCareer and personal branding growth opportunitiesWith office locations in Cherry Hill and Hammonton, Alloy Silverstein has been providing the Philadelphia region with accounting, tax, auditing, and advisory service since 1959.
