Employer Industry: Legal and Information Services Why consider this job opportunity: Salary up to $286,000 Eligibility for an annual bonus based on performance Flexible hybrid work model with up to 8 weeks of remote work per year Comprehensive benefits package including flexible vacation, mental health days, and tuition reimbursement Opportunities for career development and growth through continuous learning programs Recognized for a culture of inclusion, belonging, and social impact initiatives What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Lead a team of attorneys and privacy professionals, providing strategic legal counsel on global privacy compliance Monitor and assess the impact of evolving privacy laws and regulations on the organization Design and enhance the Privacy Program, including drafting policies and conducting risk assessments Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address privacy risks and manage vendor compliance Provide legal counsel during privacy incident investigations and oversee consumer rights request processes What is Required (Qualifications): Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active bar admission in at least one U.S. state; Canadian bar admission is a plus Minimum of 10 years of progressive privacy and data protection legal experience Strong knowledge of global privacy laws and cybersecurity principles Proven ability to lead and develop teams while effectively communicating legal concepts to diverse audiences How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Professional privacy certification (CIPP/US, CIPP/C, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent) Experience advising content‑driven AI companies Background in management consulting or law firm advisory services Technical knowledge in data architecture or cybersecurity Experience managing privacy requirements for regulated entities (healthcare, financial services, etc.) We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
