Job Description:
- Composite Assembler contributes to the production of high-precision aerospace components including filament wound pressure vessels and structures.
Job Function:
In this Function, the Composite Assembler will
- Completing training and enacting all steps required to fabricate and assemble a composite pressure vessel.
- Preparing/ completing set up of your machine.
- Mixing and preparing chemicals and resins
- Loading and unloading ovens
- Meeting daily output requirements
- Preforming proper checks and procedures to ensure quality products.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience OR 1 year of military experience
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Skills:
- HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology
- Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts
- Experience with various types of industrial machinery equipment and tools such as lathes, curing ovens, thermal and/or life cycling machines, sanding and industrial painting tools, as well as standard hand tools is a plus.

- Shift hours are: 6 am-3:00 pm
