It supports over 360 practices and 1,600 sites of care, helping them improve charge capture, reduce waste, and streamline operations. Lynx integrates seamlessly with EHRs, billing systems, and practice management platforms, enabling real-time visibility and control over drug inventory across multiple locations. With features like intuitive dispensing, remote locking devices, and robust analytics, Lynx empowers practices to enhance patient care, improve cash flow, and reduce administrative burden.As the Director, you will lead a cross-functional team of product managers & owners, scrum masters, and UI/UX designers, driving the product vision, roadmap, and execution across Lynx and Lynx Analytics. You’ll collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and customer success to deliver innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions that meet the evolving needs of specialty practices. This is not a maintenance role. We want a builder, a challenger, and a change agent who thrives on ambiguity, is passionate about solving complex problems, and is eager to make a lasting impact.**What You’ll Do*** **Lead Transformation:** Architect and execute a bold modernization strategy for Lynx, leveraging AI, LLMs, and cutting-edge digital solutions.* **Own the Vision:** Set and drive the product vision, challenging assumptions and driving new ideas from concept to launch.* **Champion Lynx:** Represent the product both within McKesson and to external partners & stakeholders.* **Build & Empower Teams:** Recruit, mentor, and inspire a diverse, entrepreneurial team of product managers, owners, and designers.* **Innovate Relentlessly:** Identify and seize opportunities to disrupt the status quo—whether through new features, business models, or partnerships.* **Drive Outcomes:** Measure success by real-world impact—improved patient care, provider efficiency, and market leadership.* **Collaborate Across Boundaries:** Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customers to deliver solutions that matter.* **Embrace Risk & Learn Fast:** Test, iterate, and pivot quickly. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.**Education**Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or entrepreneurial experience preferred.**Critical Skills*** A track record of building successful products. Ability to **challenge legacy thinking** and drive disruptive innovation.* Demonstrated ability to define and articulate a bold product vision and roadmap, lead modernization initiatives leveraging AI, LLMs, and advanced digital solutions, and drive transformational change through strong strategic leadership.* Experience leading cross-functional teams in dynamic, ambiguous settings.* Comfort with risk, experimentation, and rapid iteration.* Strong communication and influence skills—able to rally stakeholders around bold ideas.**Bonus Points*** Experience with building AI/LLM features.* Prior success in startup, scale-up, or turnaround environments.**Travel Requirements*** Up to 30% travel required for customer visits, stakeholder meetings, and McKesson office collaboration.We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
