No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visas for this opportunity.Your Day-to-Day:This Engineer will be an individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the area possessing the ability to execute highly complex, or specialized projects; adapting precedent and potentially making significant departures from traditional approaches to develop resolutions in addition to coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals as required.Providing technical support for assigned work performed in design and analysis.Performing analytical calculations and evaluations using a variety of engineering tools and methods. Develop documentation related to these calculations and analyses.Development of design documentation for safety and non-safety related hardware; this includes manufacturing drawings, functional and design specifications, as well as qualification reports.Interfacing with technical leads, project managers, and customers in the coordination of activities associated with assigned work scope, as required.Occasionally traveling to customer and manufacturing vendor sites to provide on-site support, deliver presentations, and aid in issue resolution.Who You Are:As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:BS Degree in Engineering with Mechanical being highly preferred.Minimum of 4 years of related professional experience. 8-10 years preferred.Why Westinghouse?Westinghouse Electric Company is the global nuclear energy industry’s first choice for safe, clean, and efficient energy solutions.
