Lloyd Staffing is representing a top-tier MEP/FP consulting firm seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Commercial & Hospitality Division. This full-service engineering group is known for its energy-efficient designs and high-performance buildings across commercial, hospitality, and institutional markets.This is a leadership-track role for a skilled mechanical professional ready to guide design projects, oversee junior engineers, and potentially serve as the Engineer of Record.Role Overview:Lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems across multiple building types.Serve as a key technical leader, collaborating with Project Engineers, clients, and internal teams.Review project milestones for accuracy, budget alignment, and compliance with code and client specifications.Sign and seal design drawings where applicable.Conduct energy modeling and load calculations using tools like Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, or eQUEST.Oversee QA/QC reviews and mentor junior engineers and CAD staff.Ideal Qualifications:B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required; PE license preferred15+ years of progressive MEP engineering experience in commercial and institutional marketsStrong expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systemsFamiliarity with local/state codes, ASHRAE, and LEED standardsProficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plusExperience with energy modeling tools such as Trane Trace, eQUEST, ENERGY STAR, or Carrier HAPPrior exposure to design-build, energy efficiency, or sustainable design preferredExcellent verbal/written communication, project management, and mentoring skillsBenefits & Perks:Competitive base + performance-based bonusHealth, dental, vision, life & disability insurance401(k) matchGenerous PTO + paid holidays + summer half-day FridaysFlexible schedulingStrong career growth and continuing education supportThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated mechanical engineer ready to take on lead design and project oversight responsibilities in a high-impact, team-based environment.
