Executive Director – The Malvern School The Malvern School is currently seeking an Executive Director to lead the school’s operations in Freehold, New Jersey. This full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday role offers the opportunity to build a high‑quality early‑childhood program within a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. Job Summary As Executive Director you will assume responsibility for daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, manage staff and finances, drive enrollment growth, support the Director of Education, oversee recruitment, and maintain staff‑child ratios. You will also develop written communication for parents, staff, and peers, and support the school’s mission of quality child‑centered education. Responsibilities Assume responsibility for the daily operations (and every aspect) of the school Ensure compliance with all licensing/accrediting agencies Abide by and enforce all terms of The Malvern School Employee Manual Produce written work for parents, staff, peers and supervisors that is of above‑standard quality in composition, content, and timeliness Execute all aspects of the sales process, in order to continually build enrollment, by accepting responsibility for goals as shown on an annual budget to ensure successful business operations of the school on a daily basis Follow all required business management practices, such as charging late fees and maintaining deposit reporting, credit card forms, subsidy binder, P&L reconciliation, etc. Earning and maintaining consistent customer satisfaction, maximizing enrollment potential and minimizing student withdrawals Support the Director of Education in ensuring that all staff are educated and capable of planning and implementing a superior early childhood program Serve as a resource and leader to all personnel Perform the recruitment process for your school by placing job ads, attending recruitment events, and screening/hiring qualified, quality personnel Ensure efficient and sufficient staff/child ratios are maintained in order to meet budgetary and Malvern School guidelines Ensure proper orientation of all new hires and create and communicate current staff performance evaluations Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Administrative Experience, preferably in Early Childhood Education Experience and demonstrated strengths in Business Management, Sales, Customer Service, Staff Management, Financial Management and Organization Must be able to relate well to children and adults and feel comfortable in a leadership role Benefits Holiday pay, including a week‑long paid Winter Holiday break Paid time off Company‑paid training for CPR, First Aid, and more Unlimited referral bonuses Tuition reimbursement 60% childcare discounts Medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits 401(k) Bonus incentives State‑of‑art classrooms in professionally cleaned, attractive facilities The Malvern School is dedicated to educating young children through innovative programming, a quality, child‑centered philosophy, and clean, attractive facilities.
