Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in all activities related to full-cycle accounting, including but not limited to: building journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and researching and resolving effectively discrepancies in a timely manner

Possess a keen eye for unusual transactions; follow up with the appropriate parties to get more information; discuss the findings with the accounting team to determine appropriate next steps and resolve accordingly

Conduct daily / monthly bank account and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

Investigate fluctuations and monitor trends in the accounts

Collaborate with other teams to gain an in depth understanding of the story behind the movements

Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

Accurately enter transactions using Elite 3E

Responsible for process improvement by finding ways to add efficiency /quality

Collaborate with team members globally

Present detailed and error free work product of a high level

Have a natural intellectual curiosity to be a proactive member of the overall Finance team

Ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements:

Accounting degree from an accredited college or university is required

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a relevant position is required

Experienced in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong Excel skills required

Detail-oriented with the ability to promptly assess documents for accuracy and consistency

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others in a positive and effective manner

Ability to work in a team environment on a global scale

Effective & to-the-point communication skills

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

Demonstrated ability to successfully resolve problems, with a focus on obtaining sustainable results

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Demonstrated ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a very fast paced and growing business

Projects a professional demeanor and maintain a positive attitude

Maintain a high degree of discretion
