Psychiatric Social Worker

- Conducts individual, conjoint or family therapy with assigned patients.
- Assists in the formulation and implementation of coordination and service plans.
- Participates in the review process to ensure that all clients accomplish full participation in program.
- Assures continuity of care.
- Responsible for discharge planning.
- Participates in-service training for team.
- Relieves other primary therapist in the Agency as needed.
- Practices confidentiality in client related matters.
- Cooperates with fund raising activities for the Agency.
- Must have the ability to work with multi cultured and ethnic populations; and
- Practices loyalty and commitment to the philosophy, goal and objectives of the Agency.
- Maintains records and prepare reports or necessary referrals to assist in the treatment of clients.
- Serve as liaison to other departments to facilitate communication and referral of clients.
- Monitors patients satisfaction with services on a quarterly basis.
- Refers to other agencies when appropriate.
Caseload:
- Working with Children ages 0-17 years old in Outpatient setting
- Conducting Doing 1:1 therapy and holding group sessions
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in SW, MFT, or Psychology
- BBS Registered
- Bilingual Spanish - Not required
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5pm or 9:00am - 5:30pm for all programs in clinic
Pay Range: $30-$36.85hr DOE

- Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances)

Eligibility for health benefits is based on verifying that an average of 30 hours per week during the first 4 weeks of the work assignment has been met. If you meet eligibility requirements and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).)
- 401k (eligible on the first 401k open enrollment date following 6 consecutive months on assignment. 401k Open Enrollment dates are 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1)
