ProCare Therapy is partnering with a fantastic school district in Vernon Hills, IL, to find dedicated School-Based Social Workers for the current school year. As an integral part of the educational team, you will provide essential support to students and families by addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, connecting students with needed resources, and collaborating with staff to promote a positive school environment. This contract-based position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' lives while working in a rewarding school environment. Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive Pay: $35-$45+ per hour

- Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to develop strategies to support students mental health and well-being.
- Assist in crisis intervention and manage difficult or high-stress situations with students.
- Connect families with community resources and support services.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to help students with behavioral challenges.
- Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and responses to interventions.
- Promote a positive school climate by addressing the social-emotional needs of students.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Social Worker in the state of employment.
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a school or community setting preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- (10-15) minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- (20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
- Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview
