Acute Care Trauma Surgery

The Division of General Surgery, Trauma, and Surgical Critical Care at the Yale School of Medicine is seeking outstanding candidates for two positions, an Acute Care Surgeon and a Burn Surgeon, to join their faculty and provide services at Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut. Fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in Surgical Critical Care are preferred. We are also seeking a burn surgeon who is board-eligible/certified in general surgery. Board eligibility/certification in Surgical Critical Care and added training in burn surgery are preferred. p>

Opportunity Highlights


  • Fantastic opportunity to practice acute care surgery, trauma, and elective general surgery, with on-call burn surgery coverage
  • The burn-focused surgeon will divide their clinical time close to equally between burn coverage (inpatient and outpatient) and trauma/acute care surgery
