Northern California Sales Lead

Hem is looking for a part-time hire to cover for our current Northern California + Pacific NW Senior Sales Lead while she is out on maternity leave. This is a part-time position for a 7-month period of time, with the possibility of full-time hire.
Requirements:
- Applicant must have relevant work experience in the Commercial Interior Design industry.
- San Francisco/Bay Area client base is a plus (i.e. know key contacts at relevant A+D and Dealer partners).
- Sales and/or account management experience is a plus.
- The ideal candidate would be based in the Bay Area for hybrid work in San Francisco but this position is also open to remote candidates in the greater California area.
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Respond to all client requests, questions, and needs in a timely manner.
- Order or deliver samples. Request expedited shipping as needed.
*If based in the Bay Area, expect to deliver samples in person as needed, and/or drop off at FedEx for expedited shipping.
**If based in California, expect to drop off samples at FedEx if needed. - Handle strategy on larger project opportunities in conjunction with sales management, logistics, and pertinent internal teams.
- Reach out to pertinent internal teams about any custom or modification requests.
- Share product updates with pre-determined A+D and Dealer partners on a regular basis.
- Reach out to pre-determined A+D and Dealer partners while Sr. Sales Lead is on leave and schedule presentations for 2025.
- Coordinate logistics on all incoming demo requests and pre-scheduled product vignettes.
- Regularly update Salesforce (at least weekly).
- Attendance at internal all hands meetings and sales team meetings is required.
