People like youJob DescriptionThe Senior Rebate Analyst identifies financial variances by compiling, comparing and analyzing financial results. The Senior Rebate Analyst identifies trends and recommends actions to Management while ensuring compliance with Company policies, procedures, controls and applicable Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Senior Rebate Analyst will provide management with information to assist in operational decision making.ResponsibilitiesVerify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or recordsUpdate and maintain databases for sales and rebate data calculationsAssure timely and accurate accruals of rebates at Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly basisCompile data and prepare a variety of reports for management reviewServe as a resource to other Shared Services Employees for all rebate programs and JDE Lead/SMECollaborate with Accounting team as Rebate Audit Lead to provide examples and explanation to internal and external auditorsReconcile monthly rebate balance sheet ledgersTests customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing outputFollow Rebate program policies and procedures when validating rebates calculations; reporting needed changes or exceptions to managementMaintains customer confidence by keeping all customers program information confidentialRecommend actions to resolve discrepanciesDesign, develop and maintain logbooks or records of rebates/other incentive programsAnalyzes rebate data to include: compiling program facts, figures and financial formulas to determine profitabilityProvide other financial information as required by Shared Services and SalesCompetenciesDemonstrated attention to detail, professional attitude, and ability to maintain confidentialityHighly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)Strong communication skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and work as a part of a teamAbility to work effectively across teamsDemonstrated understanding of basic statistical methodsDemonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Work EnvironmentWork is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment availableThis role works with U.S. Shared Services organizationPhysical DemandsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeMust be able to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends) to complete tasks as assignedThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printerTravelUp to 10% travel requiredRequired Education/ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance is requiredMinimum four years financial experience requiredAdditional/Preferred Eligibility RequirementsManufacturing or Sales industry experience preferredWork AuthorizationMust be authorized to work in the United States of AmericaBenefitsIKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
