Senior Integration & Automation Engineer

As the Senior Integration and Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of automated solutions and system integrations that optimize our business operations. You will be a key player in gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring that the delivered solutions meet their needs. You will be responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring they have confidence in the technology solutions that support their business processes. Your advanced skills in AWS and programming languages, along with your leadership abilities, will be critical in delivering scalable, reliable, and impactful solutions.


As a Sr Integration and Automation Engineer you will:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Lead integration and automation initiatives, setting technical direction, and driving cross-team collaboration.
  • Automation Development: Design, develop, and oversee the maintenance of automation scripts and tools to streamline and optimize business processes.
  • Cloud Integration: Architect and manage integrations between various systems and AWS services, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, gathering requirements, providing technical guidance, and ensuring stakeholder confidence in delivered solutions.
  • Solution Design: Architect scalable and reliable integration solutions that align with business requirements and technical constraints.
  • Testing & Validation: Oversee and participate in the testing of automation and integration solutions to ensure functionality, reliability, and security.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes, integration workflows, and system configurations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to identify opportunities for process improvements, proposing and implementing innovative automation solutions across the organization.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level support for existing automation and integration solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes as necessary.


What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years delivering IT solutions to business initiatives, across cross-functional teams Required and
  • 5+ years of experience in integration and automation engineering
  • Proficiency in Python and .NET for scripting, development and automation tasks
  • Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, SNS, SQS)
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and data integration methodologies
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, IaC)
  • Strong collaborative skills, with experience leading cross-team technical projects and mentoring junior engineers
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with non-technical stakeholders, building trust, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • AWS Certified Solution Architect Preferred
  • AWS Certified Developer Preferred

Physical and Environmental Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
