Maintenance Technician-Housing Services

Great Opportunity for meaningful work A maintenance role for a small apartment community. Covent Place residents enjoy small town charm in a safe, friendly community. As an affordable housing community, Covenant Place is designed for the needs of adults, age 62 and better, in a supportive environment.

This position performs a wide range of tasks including completing maintenance work orders, cleaning, vacant unit preparation, painting and light yard maintenance.

Minimal Experience: Cleaning and general light maintenance duties required. General maintenance experience is a plus.

Has the ability to use hand tools, small power tools, painting and floor care equipment with reasonable and acceptable skills.Has knowledge of cleaning, maintenance, painting, gardening, and general handy person abilities.Has working knowledge of pest control requirements.

Other Qualifications: Some general experience in HVAC, electrical or plumbing work strongly preferred. Must pass drug and background screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday

Experience: Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

Property maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
