Hospitalists Needed in North Carolina --- Multiple Shift Times AvailableMoonlighting Solutions is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Hospitalists to provide 7a-7p or 7p-7a shift coverage as well as an opportunity to participate in a teaching program that includes a great staff to work with.This very small town/tight community hospital has consistently received recognition for excellence in patient safety and patient safety preventative measures from the Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award.Details, Responsibilities, & Shifts:

  • Day Shift 7a---7p OR Night Shift 7p-7a
  • Performing Admissions, Consults, Rounding and Discharges for the Internal Medicine Hospitalist Service
  • Providing cross-cover services to the patients already on the Hospitalist Service
  • Responding to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls
  • Performing Internal Medicine procedures including ventilator management and central line placements as needed and as permitted by the privileges granted at the hospital
    Compensation:

    • Competitive hourly rate
    • Mileage and hotel provided with approval
    • Malpractice insurance provided, plus tail
      Requirements:

      • Board Certified/Board Eligible
      • North Carolina Medical License and North Carolina DEA
      • Will consider Family Medicine candidates with experience
