Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Hematology/Oncology physician to the group at Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital. The Hospitals are part of the NYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds and accommodates more than 325,000 outpatient visits, more than 100,000 emergency room visits and more than 20,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital also serves patients of many other needs. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College.

Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a colleague to join our dynamic group of 6 hematologist-oncologists, in a very friendly working family-like atmosphere
  • Ample opportunities to develop own clinic, precept a fellow s clinic, telemedicine.
  • Availability of various leadership positions from day 1, opportunities to collaborate in clinical research and QI projects
  • Full Time or Part Time positions available
  • Academic appointment at Albert Einstein School of Medicine
  • Flexible hours with unmatched work-life balance, best medical and dental benefits in the country
  • The call schedule is 1 in 6 weeks at-home call
  • Fellows are first of contact on call
Qualifications
  • Completion of Fellowship Training Program in Hematology/Oncology
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Current licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain one)
  • High attention to detail. Ability to maintain high standards.
