JOB TITLE: Clinical Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Clinic Services

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

A nonexempt position that functions as a member of the health care delivery team performing delegated clinical and administrative procedures within the supervising physician’s scope of practice consistent with the RN’s education, training and experience. Such duties shall not constitute the practice of medicine.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist in clinical policies, reviews and revisions under the guidance of the Clinical Operations Manager.
Evaluate team needs for education (Lunch and Learns), education requests and reimbursements of expenditures.
Assist in staff recruitment to include: interviews, onboarding/orientation, training via preceptor placement and staff retention with the guidance of the Clinical Operations Manager.
Serve as liaison in coordinating interdepartmental communications to identify and improve staff training needs.
Assess clinic needs via supply and equipment ordering and maintain invoices.
Assist with patient complaints under the guidance of the Clinical Operations Manager
Maintains patient confidentiality.
Other duties as assigned by Clinical Operations Manager.

PAY RANGE: $40-50/hr to start (dependent upon experience and education)

Certificate/License: RN License and is capable of achieving Alaska State RN License within 30 days of employment. Current CPR certification required, ACLS training an asset.
