Job Description Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the Mid‑Atlantic territory (Washington D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware). Responsibilities Build external relationships with identified Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and health‑care providers (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D., bio‑coordinators) and develop/manage a geographical territory. Develop and maintain a territory strategic plan, including educational activities with identified OLS, HCPs, institutions, and community practices. Demonstrate foundational competencies in Influence & Results Focused, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Product & Therapeutic Area Knowledge, and Data Insights & Dissemination. Collaborate with field‑based partners to ensure support of health‑care providers, enhancing patient outcomes. Apply competencies of Change Management, Time Management, and Innovation to enhance agility. Conduct all activities in accordance with current regulatory and health‑care compliance guidelines. Travel primarily within the assigned geography (estimate 60%); infrequent travel outside the geography as needed. Consistently demonstrate strategic territory planning, relationship building, and strong scientific acumen. Continuously support Department Operations and Internal Partners. Qualifications Degree: Pharm.D., Ph.D., or M.D. with 2+ years of relevant neurology, immunology, or neuromuscular experience. Clinical or research experience: 2–3 years required. Preferred: Prior MSL experience, expertise in Neurology, Immunology, Rare Disease, or Neuromuscular; launch experience; significant presentation experience. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $115,000 – $197,800. Position eligible for a company car (Fleet program) and an annual performance bonus. Employees may participate in Company benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and personal/family time off.
