This position will oversee the daily processing of the general ledger, among other responsibilities. **ABOUT YOU:**You are excited about the media industry and how your finance expertise contributes to the overall business. The successful candidate will display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs.**YOUR DAY-DAY:** (aka Responsibilities)* Assist in the monthly closing process by preparing and uploading journal entries* Prepare and maintain monthly recurring entries* Prepare various general ledger account analyses by reviewing transactions within the general ledger to ensure accurate activity within the account* Ability to interpret and understand contracts.* Responsible for the accounting for specialized contractual obligations.* Assist in preparation of the Quarterly Flux analysis book* Assist in gathering support for the internal/external audit requests* Support ad hoc projects/system implementation**YOU HAVE:** (aka Qualifications)* BS/BA in accounting is required.* Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus* Solid knowledge of GAAP and regulations* Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)TelevisaUnivision believes that happy, well-balanced employees are key to a thriving culture.
