Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician
ROLE DETAILS:
Our client is a interventional pain practice office looking for Medical Assistants.
Weekly Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (8-5), Tuesday ( 9-6), Friday ( 7-3). Can be flexible if you need different hours.
Responsibilities:
Using the x-ray equipment and assisting with interventional pain procedures ( must be willing to be trained on x-ray machine)
Taking patient vitals and assisting with urine tests
Rooming patients and taking down documentation
General front desk tasks such as checking in patients and answering phone calls
Skills/Experience:
1-2 years experience as of medical assistant
Willing to learn/train on how to operate the x-ray machine
BLS/CPR
Ability to adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public
Must be well organized and detail oriented
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
