Dental Assistant

As a Dental Assistant at Community Health Connections, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for dental treatment, taking vital signs, and maintaining dental instruments and materials. You will also be responsible for sterilizing instruments, preparing restorative materials, and performing routine maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will assist patients with appointments, payments, and other administrative tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for dental treatment, including taking vital signs and maintaining patient records
Maintain dental instruments, materials, and medications in a clean and organized manner
Sterilize instruments using autoclaves and perform routine maintenance tasks
Prepare restorative materials and dental cements as needed
Assist patients with appointments, payments, and other administrative tasks
Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures required
Minimum 1 year experience as a dental assistant preferred
CPR certification required
Mass State License required
Proficient reading, writing, and speaking skills in English required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment required
