Job Description

This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by preparing and processing
vendor invoices under the general supervision of the Senior Accountant. Prepares payment runs, provides data for
month-end accruals and ensures 1099 compliance.

 Responsible for executing the accounting procedures of the company.
 Oversee customer payment processing and vendor payment preparation, including uploading bank files,
preparing cash requirement reports, and handling bank deposits for received customer payments.
 Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports for payments, ensuring timely entry into the
company's accounts payable system to secure early payment discounts and comply with purchasing
policies.
 Setting up new vendors on the A/P system and providing requested information to establish credit,
including tax exemption certificates and W9’s.
 Assisting in identifying required month-end accruals for goods or services received, but not invoiced, and
all other duties as required.
 Preparing monthly/quarterly/year-end financial reports, schedules, audits, and statements including, but
not limited to full cycle 1099 Information Returns.
 Reconciling selected general ledger accounts as assigned by the Assistant Controller.
 All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and two plus years of accounting experience; or 3 plus
years of related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
 Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook Email, and calendar.
 Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
 Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
 Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff,
and internal and external clients.
 Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and
develop solutions and/or options.
 Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
