Duke Health and Duke University School of Medicine are seeking a full-time Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist at the rank of Assistant Professor to join our Pediatric Critical Care Division at Duke University Hospital to support program growth. The candidate must be board certified/eligible in both Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatric Cardiology, or have completed an advanced fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care. 

The Duke Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center is recognized as a leading provider of comprehensive pediatric cardiac care currently ranked # 4 in the US and # 1 in NC. The PCICU contains 20 beds to support a busy surgical and interventional program as well as a heart transplant and mechanical support center. The PCICU is staffed by a well-established acute care pediatric nurse practitioner program and by Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatric Cardiology fellows. Our team has diverse academic interests and is engaged in research, quality improvement and health care delivery work both regionally and nationally. Although this will be a clinical position, participation in research and educational activities will be expected.
