Dover Behavioral Health System is seeking a dynamic and talented *Social Worker* for our *inpatient* psychiatric hospital. The incumbent will be responsible for providing quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to acute child, adolescent, and adult patients. This position is Monday - Friday core business hours with a weekend and holiday on-call rotation.
*Job Duties/Responsibilities:*
* Conducts psychosocial assessments to identify patient issues and develop treatment plans, and provides individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
* Participates in treatment team meetings, presents patient cases, and coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team.
* Develops and coordinates individualized discharge plans, identifying aftercare needs and utilizing resources such as outpatient programs and mental health practitioners.
* Serves as the patient's primary contact and advocate, reporting incidents or suspected abuse to community/state agencies and representing the facility in legal proceedings.
*Minimum*:
* MSW or MS in a recognized mental health field
* LMSW or a related Counseling license
*Preferred:*
* One year with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, treatment and/or clinical assessment skills preferred
