Our client located in Ewing, NJ is seeking for a Program Therapist for an on-going contract or contract to hire role.

The role involves traveling to three different sites weekly.

*Qualifications:*
Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling, Doctoral level psychologist, or related mental health discipline
Current NJ State licensure to practice; social work in the State of New Jersey as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW); as a licensed or certified Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner (APN); Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) or a licensed psychologist
Experience required at least 2 years of full-time clinical work experience; prior supervisor experience preferred
Training and other requirements
One to three year (s) work experience in psychotherapy
Maintain yearly core competency training and credentialing and privileging
Able to Meet performance goal(s) established for the fiscal year and goals outlined and defined in clinical supervision

*Preferred Qualifications:*
Prior Experience working as a Therapist in outpatient IIC and or Residential Setting
Experience in working closely with a clinical team/ MDT
The ideal candidate should have knowledge CSOS, and the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
Knowledge of the I/DD population, neurodivergent disorders, and prevailing co-occurring clinical disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, complex trauma, enuresis, and encopresis.
Additionally, they should possess a rudimentary understanding of medical and physical disorders that are frequently comorbid with I/DD, including:
Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders: High prevalence among individuals with I/DD.
Gastrointestinal Issues: Such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and constipation.
Sleep Disorders: Including insomnia, sleep apnea, and other disturbances.
Obesity: Due to factors such as limited mobility and dietary challenges.
Cardiovascular Diseases: Higher risk due to associated lifestyle factors and genetic syndromes.
Respiratory Conditions: Including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and frequent respiratory infections.
Sensory Impairments: Such as vision and hearing impairments.
Musculoskeletal Problems: Including scoliosis, joint abnormalities, and reduced bone density.
Endocrine Disorders: Including diabetes and thyroid dysfunctions.
Skin Conditions: Including dermatitis and infections.
Dental Problems: Such as cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues.

*Deliverables:*
Lead the MDT and CFT
Provide one hour of therapy per youth each week in each home (15 youth in total).
Conduct 15 Individual Service Plan and Reviews during the first week of each month.
Perform 15 Joint Care reviews quarterly.
Manage case coordination and case management for 15 youth and their families.
Offer family therapy, family engagement, and psychoeducation to 15 youth and their families upon request.
