*Key Responsibilities:

Enhances and restores patient health by executing the nursing process; collaborating with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams; offering both physical and emotional support to patients and their families; overseeing assigned nursing staff.

*Core Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient care needs by building personal connections with patients and their families to understand care requirements.
  • Foster patient independence by setting care objectives; educating patients and their families about specific health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques; addressing inquiries.
  • Ensure high-quality care by adhering to established therapeutic standards; evaluating health outcomes against care objectives; making necessary adjustments; complying with nursing standards and regulations.
  • Address patient concerns and needs by employing multidisciplinary team approaches.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment by following established procedures and regulations; seeking assistance from healthcare support staff when necessary.
  • Safeguard patients and staff by following infection control protocols, medication administration guidelines, and regulations regarding controlled substances.
  • Document patient care activities by maintaining accurate records in patient and departmental files.
  • Ensure continuity of care among nursing teams by effectively communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and protect operational integrity by safeguarding sensitive information.
  • Guarantee equipment functionality by performing preventive maintenance; following manufacturer guidelines; troubleshooting issues; requesting repairs; managing equipment inventories; assessing new tools and techniques.
  • Manage nursing supply inventory by monitoring stock levels; anticipating supply needs; placing and expediting orders; confirming receipt of supplies; utilizing equipment and materials effectively to achieve job outcomes.
  • Enhance professional and technical expertise by participating in educational workshops; reviewing industry publications; building professional networks; engaging in nursing organizations.
  • Promote teamwork among healthcare professionals by sharing information; responding to requests; fostering relationships; participating in collaborative problem-solving.
  • Contribute to team objectives by achieving related results as necessary.
  • Review medication administration records (MAR) for accuracy.
  • Attend and engage in patient meetings.
  • Complete annual and mandatory assessments for program participation.
  • Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and routine monitoring (blood pressure, dietary needs, seizure management).
