An international automotive parts manufacturing company is currently searching for a motivated an Accountant Clerk to join their facility to the north of the Delaware, OH area. The ideal candidate has a good understanding / knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping functions (AP/AR, General Ledger, Reports, Reconciliation, etc.). Having an experience with QuickBooks is a plus. This is a full-time, direct hire position.



Accounting Clerk Responsibilities Include:

Accounts payable and receivable (AP / AR) functions
Participate in preparation for internal and external financial audits and corporate income taxes
Handle balance sheet, daily income, invoices, future profit / costs, financial statements, etc.
Bookkeeping functions such as maintaining financial records, payroll entry, general ledger, etc.
Creation of accounting reports for upper management
Other duties as assigned



Accounting Clerk Requirements Include:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a plus
1 year accounting experience (including internships, co-ops, etc.) is a plus but not required
Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable / receivable (AP / AR), bookkeeping, account and bank reconciliation, etc.
Good computer skills and familiarity with MS Office applications and accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.)
Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
Organizational and time management skills
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
