Deputy Attorney General, OAG, Civil Litigation – ITD Closing Date: Open until filled. Start Date: To be determined upon hire. Salary: Starting at $90,000 to Depends on experience (DOE). The Office is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF). Ability to partially telecommute is also available for this position. Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Primary Duties Represent the Idaho Transportation Department in civil litigation, including real property, contract disputes, and administrative law. Engage in motion and trial practice in district court and administrative hearings. Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to department employees on a variety of legal issues. Evaluate draft legislation, contracts and proposed administrative rules. Handle administrative appeals filed by contractors and other parties. Minimum Qualifications Admission to the Idaho State Bar. Experience in state courts and administrative proceedings and the ability to handle a civil litigation caseload. Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of experience in civil litigation.
